Theren and I are having a conversation and he says, "Mom we're Germans right?"
I say, "No bUDDY, we are Americans. 100 percent from America. Our ancestors came from Germany but we are Americans.
Nope I'm a German!
"Theren, do you speak German?"
"Fe, Fi, Fumph"..There I spoke German!!
I say, "Ha ha. Well you don't speak German! You are American."
I do realize that I'm trying to dumb it down for my 7 year old. I should not have done that because he was out smarting me the whole time.
His response, "Sup! I speak Spanish..therefore I am a Mexican!!!"
