God's Charms
The other day when we were walking to the truck you looked at me and said, "Mommy...I REEEAAALLY love you." I smiled and told you I love you right back. Then you proceeded to ask me why I love you. I told you," I think you're gorgeous in every way."

After a minute, you said...yeah I know I'm gorgeous. I asked you why you thought you were gorgeous and you said..., "I'm pretty sure I'm gorgeous because my God gave me so many charms!"

my addy
Tonight is a night I never want to forget. You drove me up and down our street on the lawnmower (which you call a tractor.) The best part...you waved to every neighbor with your beauty queen wave and shouted out "hello"...so that everyone would turn and wave back at you. The look on your face was pure innocence and happiness. Your blonde hair was floating in the wind and your smile was enough to capture the sun... I love that you say Breakftist...and I renember...I love each time you spill (which is everytime you eat) because after that moment you look at me with loving eyes...and say "oh sorry mommy...that was an accilent."

I can't help but melt away. I adore you Adelyn. You fill me with happiness.

magic in kade
I can see the magic in you Kade. Your soul is my match. The way you question the world ignites a spark in my heart that I cannot describe in any other word but pride. Such a simple word to describe not at all a simple feeling that your mother feels for you.

my dearest theren
Your smile melts me away. Your big blue eyes look at me with charm and mischief all wrapped up into one giant meld of adorableness. I cannot describe to you the joy I get from being your mother.

adelyn
my dearest girl...
Tonight on a bike ride we pulled into the street and I looked at you and said..."you lead...anywhere you want" The way you looked at me I will never be able to describe in words..it was a mixture of pride, confidence, power and pure joy. Have I never let you lead before? Have I never given you the feeling of being "believed in?" Baby, I believe in you....I'm sorry if I've never shown that to you.

Two and a half miles down the road..you looked at me and said.."We are a long way from home...we can go back now!"
