Splash Mountain

You kids are so cool!  I love hanging out with you little fish!  We went to Splash Mountain this weekend.  You were great in the car for the 2.5 hours it took to get there.  Kade...you read the entire time.  Theren and Addy, you both played so nicely in the car with eachother.  Blessed.

Front Seat

I let you sit in the front seat..you looked way to fragile and little... I felt like putting you in a baby car seat.

You looked Sooooo happy and proud. ..free almost...then you started dancing.

Kades Laundry duty

Lol... While helping me do laundry duty Kade (11) held up a smaller pair of my undies and says... "Mom really?? What's the point of these?? What if your pants fell down!"

Adele and Love

My daughter is trying to be a famous singer...so she asks me what genre of music is right for her voice.  I say, "Oh, Addy, anything you like.  You could sing Taylor Swift or Katy Perry."

Addy says, "What kind of music is Taylor?"

My response, "Country..and Katy Perry is Pop.  Why don't you try an Adele song because she is your favorite?"

Addy says, "What kind of music is she?" (Mind you she is 9 years old)

I say, "Adele is ..hmm... I guess Pop music."

Theren my son (7) says..."REALLY MOM??  I thought Adele was love!"

Daddys old neighborhood

Today we were coming home from a dog wash..and Dad asks if you kids want to see his old neighborhood??

Kade says,  "Are we gonna get beat up?"


Huh?  Our kids = over protected!! or maybe SPOILED?

Creepy Tornados

At Holland State Park with the Mohr girls..and instantly the sky went dark.  This is what we saw :(

Kades Toe

Dear Son,

This is a reminder for you, that when you have children...to make then wear shoes while riding their bikes.
